Thanks, man!

Looking back on my portfolio, I noticed my scrap-drawing-turned-passion-project artwork that was actually better than my major projects. It felt like it was time to buckle down and do some real painting. This one is on a canvas, but curiously, I did a boatload of under drawing (that made it into the final) anyway.

Inspired by an old sketch, I flesh out my concept of a dragon warrior. Rather than being his sweet ride, the dragon is actually there to train him to his fullest potential. … Right now, however, the dragon knight is a lazy dragon esquire who’s happy to have Mr. Dragon help him cut corners.
