After playing Metroid Fusion (2001) again, I became really interested with the unusual yellow/purple color scheme of Samus’ Varia Suit. I decided to depict some of my favorite parts of the game, while experimenting with paper color interactions.

In this first painting, I draw samus on orange paper. It sounds good at first, but the orange seeps through heavily, making her yellow suit a little too warm.
