Hideout at the Marketplace

Acrylic paint, chalk, colored pencil, and collage on green and red mat board

My landscaping efforts take a leap into an exciting new world. By zooming into small spaces with pencils and paint, a new level of depth is created. With a little bit of perspective, both on paper and from a friend, I examine both characters and setting in one composition.

I also take my first step into collage under my image. In this, the choice was elementary as I only have one rectangle. Doing so opened my mind to expanding upon this decision, which will come into play in later works.
